منحة تشيفننغ:

وهي عبارة عن برنامج للمنح الدراسية الدولية يمكّن الطلاب ذوي الصفات القيادية من أكثر من 160 دولة ومنطقة لإجراء دراسات عليا أو دورات في جامعات في المملكة المتحدة. يأتي تمويل المنحة من وزارة الخارجية والكومنولث البريطانية والمنظمات الشريكة لها.

الدول المشاركة:

يختلف عدد المنح المتاحة من بلد إلى آخر. يتم منح أكثر من ثلاثين منحة دراسية حالياً لمرشحين من نيبال والهند وروسيا والصين. يتم منح عشرين أو أكثر لمرشحين من مصر وسوريا وكوريا الجنوبية وإندونيسيا وباكستان والمكسيك وتايلاند والبرازيل، مع أقل من خمس منح أساسية متاحة الآن للمرشحين من أستراليا وكندا .

أهمية برنامج منح تشيفننغ:

تعتمد أهمية برنامج منح تشيفننغ على اتساع نطاقه فعلى سبيل المثال في 2017/18 تم منح 1650 منحة دراسية للطلاب من أكثر من 140 دولة، مما سمح للطلاب من الدول النامية بالوصول إلى مؤسسات التعليم العالي البريطانية، وبعضها على مستوى عالٍ جداً.

هل يمكن التقديم على تشيفننغ قبل الحصول على قبول جامعي؟

نعم , لكن هنالك عدة إجراءات ومنها:

الإجابة على المقالات, تعبئة الابليكيشن والذي يتضمن "الخبرات السابقة , مكان العمل السابق, الفترة الزمنية.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك ذكر اسم 2 من جهات التوصية يليها فيما بعد رفع رسالتي التوصية.

ويجب اختيار 3  كورسات للتقديم "يمكن التغيير لاحقاً وإعلام اللجنة بذلك في أثناء المقابلة"

هل يشترط وجود ايلتس أو توفل؟

غير ملزم بأي شهادة لغة انكليزية من أجل المنحة لكن تحتاجها من أجل القبول الجامعي.

في حال عدم وجود الشهادة عند التقديم للحصول على القبول الجامعي يمكن الحصول على قبول مشروط لحين تقديم شهادة اللغة.

في حال الدراسة سابقاً في بلد يتحدث اللغة الانكليزية والدراسة أيضاً باللغة انكليزية  لمدة لا تقل عن سنتين هنا لا يطلب شهادة لغة.

Chevening Scholarship:

  It is an international scholarship program that enables students with leadership qualities from over 160 countries and territories to undertake postgraduate studies or courses at universities in the UK.  Funding for the scholarship comes from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and its partner organizations.

Participating countries:

The number of scholarships available varies from country to country.  Over thirty scholarships are currently awarded to candidates from Nepal, India, Russia and China.  Twenty or more are awarded to candidates from Egypt, Syria, South Korea, Indonesia, Pakistan, Mexico, Thailand and Brazil, with less than five core scholarships now available to candidates from Australia and Canada.

Is it possible to apply to Chevening before obtaining university admission?

Yes, but there are several procedures, including:
